Hi there My name's Helen and I'm the club president for 2015/2016. First off, after you finish reading this I'd like to invite you to check out the rest of the site for a little more information about korfball and the club, things we've been up to recently and how to get involved yourself!
Compared to other more intense uni sports clubs we're very inclusive with one of our competitive teams entirely for the purpose of teaching people how to play as well as our 1st and 2nd teams who compete in BUCS and Varsity every year!
We also play in the Oxford league and have games most weeks during term time at St Gregory the Great school. It's good to have regular games and get chance to put what you learn into practice on a regular basis, in what is a competitive but very friendly league.
If you’re curious about Korfball come and give it a try. For the first few weeks of Michalemas 2015 our trainings will have a focus on learning how to play Korfball (but new players are welcome to join at any time!) and some of the skills which will make you a great player in the future and there is always the pub after training to discuss the finer points of strategy.
