Alex 22:07:58 07/07/2007 | and greeks..... |
Nat 11:29:30 06/07/2007 | Oh, a sailing yacht, of course. Motorboats are for chavs. |
Alex 18:53:54 04/07/2007 | Given it's an OUCofA blazer I think you should be nicer about it my dear Nat!! I do however second the G&T idea. Do you fancy a big sailing yacht or a sunseeker powerboat type thing? |
Nat 16:48:04 29/06/2007 | You and your gentleman's club blazers. We're going to be need a few cases of Bombay too. I do love a good G&T. |
Alex 12:16:40 29/06/2007 | I have a fine selection of jackets to wear on this yacht and then we can sail it to Greece for training! |
Nat 16:27:30 21/06/2007 | Right, he's gone. *breaks out the beers* Now, what are we going to spend all the club's money on? I've always thought we needed a club yacht, myself. |
Darren 23:37:43 19/06/2007 | I'm off tomorrow morning. To America, land of the free. Where guns are legal, and 70% of the population don't believe evolution. Hopefully I'll make it back alive and without being sued. Have fun without me, and enjoy the summer! |
Darren 07:39:44 14/06/2007 | Congratulations! Best of luck to everybody going to BUSA as well. |
Nat 15:32:22 12/06/2007 | All conquering OUCofA took the team, gents and ladies recurve titles at county champs this weekend. Thanks to Rob for honourably stepping into the breach, Yanni for bringing the frappe maker (so civilised), Antje for bringing the carbohydrate goodness that fended off my hangover. Ladies champ 2 years in a row :) |
Darren 13:42:46 30/05/2007 | Golden Compass trailer in HD glory. See how many CG enhanced parallel Oxford locations you can spot! |
Darren 21:34:52 23/05/2007 | For a bit of variety, how about a very cool video actually related to archery? Man catches arrow in mid flight. Gotta love the startled face of the presenter! |
Nat 13:58:31 23/05/2007 | Thanks again to those who came to the debrief last night, I think we all found it useful, and certainly plenty to think about. Enjoy the field course at the weekend! |
Darren 19:13:58 17/05/2007 | You should try facebook: http://oxford.facebook.com/profile.php?id=36815273 |
Ben 14:12:49 17/05/2007 | Does anyone have Heather Golding's email address as i have some Varsity match photos for her. Oh, and for everyone else too. they will be in the cupboard as of about 10 mins time. |
Darren 01:08:44 15/05/2007 | Millimeters Matter One of the coolest things I've ever seen. |
Ollie 13:08:32 11/05/2007 | Good Luck everyone for tomorrow! Have some fun boshing the Gold and wooping Tabs! Awesome!!!! |
Darren 16:40:08 09/05/2007 | I thought banks were getting pretty greedy, but rodent mortgages! |
Nat 10:04:19 09/05/2007 | Ah they have done a beautiful job. But I am now poorer than an inner city church mouse with a mortgage and 5 children. |
Darren 18:51:58 08/05/2007 | Yay! |
Nat 13:54:29 08/05/2007 | My car lives! I'm picking it up tonight! Yay! |
Darren 23:22:54 05/05/2007 | Congratulations to the Oxford senior squad as we came 3rd overall this year in BUTTS! Also, congratulations to the novice squad, as we came 4th even though we've only fielded a full team twice. |
Darren 08:46:39 05/05/2007 | Don't worry, you in the minibus makes me go more than a little mad too ;) I hope you get the car sorted out soon with minimum extra fuss. I have the challenge with me. Rather fragile though, I hope I don't squish it too much. Looks awesome! |
Nat 14:23:37 04/05/2007 | Good luck tomorrow folks, I shall be with you in spirit. Although not in practice, as my car is STILL at the paintshop and the minibus makes me go more than a little mad... Don't forget to deliver the challenge! |
Darren 17:09:56 01/05/2007 | Congratulations to the Oxford senior team who came 3rd at Oxford BUTTS. Even more congratulations to the Oxford novice team who came 2nd! Congratulations to Ollie as well for the Helping Hand Trophy. |
Antje 15:25:27 26/04/2007 | Congratulations to Ollie for winning the GNAS Jack Flinton Helping Hand Trophy for his coaching achievements - says so here (well spotted, Nat!). (And thank God they didn't supply a picture, 'cause the thing is seriously ugly....sorry, Ollie!) |
Nat 12:26:33 26/04/2007 | Can anyone lend me £800 quid? Failing that I'll have to pay for the sodding car repairs with an organ. Can anyone lend me a decent organ to sell? *waits for the smut about organs* |
Darren 10:26:52 26/04/2007 | Best metaphor ever! Bush Refuses To Set Timetable For Withdrawal Of Head From White House Banister The Onion on form is wonderful thing. |
Darren 00:09:49 23/04/2007 | Awesome advert |
Darren 18:50:49 22/04/2007 | What seems worse is that it appears to have actual support from all the different departments. Second Life is by very misunderstood. In the media and to the average member of the public it is like some sort of virtual reality where you can live out a "second life" and is the future of the internet and gaming. To slightly more knowledgeable people, it is basically an adult and very immature chat program (like MSN messenger) with a (really shitty) 3D interface where everybody has ridiculous sized breasts. I bet whoever thought up that idea did it with the best intentions, and I can understand how it could sound attractive when pitched to whatever committee approved its funding. However, all that will happen is the place will either be completely deserted, or full of people having cybersex. They might even end up with virtual animal rights protestors trying to break everything. |
Nat 15:07:57 20/04/2007 | Oh dear Christ. They have spent actual money on that? |
Darren 12:10:12 20/04/2007 | Stupidest idea ever*. *well, probably not ever, but still pretty stupid. |
Nat 09:18:48 10/04/2007 | "Nat has promised to put some videos up on YouTube"? When? Was I drunk? I don't even have the videos, you do... You see,I don't even have to be in the area to coach you now - I'm in your head! Mwahahahahahahahaa! |
Antje 14:34:24 08/04/2007 | oops, sorry for the double-posting.... |
Antje 14:33:52 08/04/2007 | Some of my Team Greece 2007 photos are up on Facebook now: check it out! |
Antje 14:33:38 08/04/2007 | Some of my Team Greece 2007 photos are up on Facebook now: check it out! |
Antje 18:39:56 07/04/2007 | We came, we saw, we had side-meat. And side-cheese. And side-carbohydrate. And meat on a stick. Plus we shot our asses off (on the crummiest boss of all times, which means we all got shiiit and poo on our arrows), and Marc is now a Third Class archer, and Nat's voice shouting "Pull, Frotscher, PULL!" (add expletive(s) of your choice) will follow me into my dreams. Nat has blisters, my back is killing me, Yannis ees a free man, and Marc has got his very first archery tan. All hail Thessaloniki! Will hopefully have some of the pictures up by tomorrow, and Nat has promised to put some videos on youtube, so you can all share in the joy that is Team Greece 2007! |
Alex 16:01:54 06/04/2007 | Yay for pocket pie! Can you bring some back for us to witness? |
Nat 21:57:15 05/04/2007 | The greeks have Pies for pockets! Pocket Pie! More information to follow in due course. PS I have the most amazing blisters you have ever seen. Rowers included. PPS Rowing is easy. I am now an expert. PPPS Quote from yesterday "...ehh, Yanni.....Eees a free man *Greek shrug*" Never a truer word spoken, Apollo bloke. |
Darren 11:29:44 01/04/2007 | You might want to check your facebook news feed today. |
Alex 13:54:25 30/03/2007 | I'm so there for the PAM! |
Cath 08:48:16 26/03/2007 | It was great to see old and new members on Saturday. I was very disappointed by the lack of kebab vans still around in 10th week though.... Alumni: Look out for the PAM (Punt Alumni Meeting) in the summer! |
Darren 22:48:37 24/03/2007 | Thank you to everybody who helped out with OUIT this year. Everything went better than I expected. Wooo! As a special treat, have a video of Cuteness overload. :D |
Darren 15:31:21 23/03/2007 | Vote Brown! A video of Gordon Brown picking his nose, then eating the spoils during PMQs. Exactly the sort of behaviour you want in the potential leader of the 4th largest economy in the world :) |
Darren 16:19:24 21/03/2007 | Top 50 greatest local US commercials Tears of laughter. Warning, there are 50 videos on that link, so watching them all will kill your productivity for a while. Worth it though. |
Nat 14:29:30 21/03/2007 | Congrats everyone, stonking performance. |
Darren 13:05:37 21/03/2007 | Get in! Seriously impressive scores by Edinburgh, Warwick and Cambridge for the medal positions. Congratulations to them as well. |
Emma 16:14:03 20/03/2007 | The full results are not yet up for BUSA indoors, but Oxford came 4th - so well done!! |
Nat 14:57:46 19/03/2007 | Historic tale creator! I'd lost the link to that...Now i know how to spend my afternoon! |
