Save the elephants. Our primary partner, who provides the tracking infrastructure and supports us with all facilities in Kenya. All our tracking projects are run in full collaboration with this charity Oxford Silk Group. Fritz Vollrath's group working on spiders and spider silks. Mpala Research Centre. The Mpala Research Centre (MRC) is a facility for scientific research, education, and training in central Kenya, emphasizing environmental sciences, biodiversity conservation, and natural resources management. MRC is located in Laikipia District, at the core of a vast savanna ecosystem that hosts abundant wildlife.
