The SMBG International Working Group was established in 2006 to bring together academics working
in the field of blood glucose self-monitoring. The aim of the group is to share our experience and
develop joint proposals to improve use of SMBG for people with diabetes.

Members are drawn from Africa, North and South America, Asia, Australia and Europe.
Membership of the Group is growing rapidly and there are currently over 50 members.
