The papers available on this site are in Adobe Acrobat format (.pdf) so you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader on your system to read them. If you do not have Adobe Acrobat, this very useful software may be downloaded free from the Adobe web site. To download Adobe Acrobat, please click here: Download Adobe Acrobat. [Downloading the full version takes roughly 25 minutes. A download of the text-only version will take about half this time.]
To read an article most comfortably on screen, click on the down-arrow just to the right of the zoom percentage number at the bottom left of your screen (it will say something like 123%) and select "Fit Visible". If you want to read a paper off-line, you can copy it to your hard disk by going to File/Save on the Menu in Acrobat. You can also print it out at once by going to File/Print. Notice the useful Binoculars Button on the Acrobat toolbar which will allow you to search for any word or phrase in the body of the text.
