A bike is strongly recommended for the journey from central Oxford - it can seem very boring and long otherwise. Go down the Iffley Road from the Magdalen Roundabout. A few hundred yards down (it's a long way) you'll pass Magdalen school on your right. Shortly afterwards is the Cricketer's Arms on your left (take note for later but keep walking). You'll come to a gate on your right with a keypad lock on it on the right. Go all the way to the end of the path, following it round to the gym. In summer we shoot on the rugby pitch - if you continue on past the gym entrance, the rugby pitch is the big green thing on the left.
If travelling from outside Oxford, you should enter Oxford from the east. Travelling from London, leave the M40 at junction 8 and follow the A40 to the Headington roundabout then continue straight ahead to the centre of Oxford. From the North, leave the M40 at junction 9 and follow the signs to Oxford but do not head straight for the centre, travel clockwise round the ring road until the Headington roundabout then take the road into Oxford. From any other direction, get to this roundabout on the ring road then turn towards the centre. Drive for about three miles, past Oxford Brookes and down a hill. You will come to a roundabout - take the second exit, Iffley Road. This is marked on the map below - follow the road up to the sports centre on the right.
