We're shooting indoors this term (Hilary 1999), at the university sports centre.
A bike is strongly recommended for the journey from central Oxford - it can seem very boring and long otherwise. Go down the Iffley Road from the Magdalen Roundabout. About half a mile down (seriously - it's a long way) you'll pass Magdalen school on your right. Shortly afterwards is the Cricketer's Arms on your left (take note for later but keep walking). You'll come to a gate on your right with a keypad lock on it. We shouldn't really put the code here so mail us first and we'll tell you, or just hope someone comes along who knows the code - it's pretty busy normally. Go all the way to the end of the path, following it round to the gym. Knock on the door and someone will let you in.
This term the shooting sessions are taking place on Mondays from 2:15pm to 4:45pm and on Thursdays from 2:15pm to 4:00pm. If you're really keen get there a bit early then we'll be able to start the moment the group before finishes. We appreciate people making the effort to help set up or pack up equipment at the beginning and end of sessions.
Membership this year has been reduced to the bargain price or £20 for the year, to cover GNAS membership, insurance, equipment and tournament subsidies.
Three trial sessions are allowed before we ask you to make up your mind about joining the club. This year these are free as no one can be bothered to collect any money for them.
The current committee is:
If you'd like to write to the club, you can write to any of the officers: just address the letter to:
and it should arrive fine.
