Directions & camping arrangements

Directions

The Regatta is based at the City of Oxford Rowing Club, City Boathouse, Meadow Lane, Oxford OX4 4BL. The club is located on Meadow Lane off Donnington Bridge Road (B4495) to the southeast of the City.

Parking

Trailers should be parked in the City Boathouse car park, and towing vehicles moved to the Sea Scout's field immediately afterwards. Scullers should park in the Council car park and carry their boats through to the lawn in front of Riverside Centre. Other vehicles may be parked in the Sea Scouts' field. This field is privately owned and a fee of £3 for one day, or £5 for two days, will be charged. Public parking is also available at Redbridge Park & Ride.

Camping

Space for camping is available from 6.00 pm on Friday to 7.00 pm on Sunday in the Sea Scouts' field (about 150 m away from the City Boathouse in Meadow Lane). The field is privately owned and the owners will charge £2.50 per person per night for its use. Access to toilets only will be provided in the Sea Scouts' club house; showers, toilets and other facilities will be provided at the City Boathouse. Additional camping facilities are available at commercial rates at Touchwoods Camping International opposite Redbridge Park & Ride. Anyone wishing to camp in the Sea Scouts' field on Friday night should book a place by contacting Sarah Edwards on 07963 914688. There is no need to book for Saturday night.

Hot breakfast will be served at the City Boathouse on Saturday and Sunday mornings from 7.30 am.
