Victor Ludorum - Rules

These rules apply to both Victor Ludorum prizes being offered in 2004:

  • Senior Victor Ludorum - £750 awarded to the most successful visiting club in Senior & Veteran events over the two days of competition. The home club is not eligible to compete for this prize.
  • Junior Victor Ludorum - £300 awarded to the most successful club in Junior events over the two days of competition. The prize is sponsored by the Henley Schools Head of the River Race, and the home club is eligible to compete for it.

In each case, the winner will be decided by allocating points for each event won according to boat class and the number of crews which raced, as indicated in the following table:

Equivalent points will be deducted for scratchings judged to be tactical in nature.

In the case of composite crews, points will be divided equally amongst the represented clubs.
