Tutored beginners evening to white wine with Rachel Pacquelet, Sommelier at Raymond Blanc's famous restaurant Le Manoir Aux Quat' Saisons. Six of the most popular varietals will be tasted to introduce new members to white wine tasting.

Tutored vintage and non-vintage Champagne tasting with David Parks from Lanson Champagne. The wines presented will include Lanson's Nobel Cuvee 1989 and their more recent Gold Label 1994 vintages.

6th Week Wednesday 8.15pm
The Summer Common Room, Magdalen College

Marks and Spencer's Wine Buyer, Jane Masters MW, will be presenting eight wines from their current range, including their latest limited production wines. Mr Chris Newey, M&S Wine Advisor, will also be on hand to talk with members.

Mr. Arthur Cunynghame, owner of the Royal cheesemongers Paxton & Whitfield, will be introducing a selection of cheeses to accompany our first blind tasting competition of the year. Marc Jerrard from the Revelstoke Wine Company will be providing eight wines to test our noses and taste buds in this friendly competition.
