He is listed on various documents as
Settled originally in Kapunda, a copper mining town in South Australia where there was large German speaking community presumably from Hanover especially the mining area near the Harz Mountains. Fell out with newspaper owner, legal action over unpaid advertizing.At some point they all moved to Melbourne before 1885 -no idea why. Lived in boarding house. Commited suicide in 1889 with a gun.
