Bodleian Digital Library Systems & Services

My main role within Bodleian Digital Library Systems & Services is the co-ordination of its metadata services. I specialise in metadata and encoding frameworks for primary source digitization and digital text encoding. I am responsible for the standards and interoperability focus of the digital resources (digital surrogates, electronic text, finding aids etc.) created. To this end I consult with academics, librarians, and researchers involved in the creation or migration of metadata and electronic text to advise, analyse requirements, train, and manage the process. I've been managing projects mainly in humanities subject areas and have recently been working on the following projects:
