My modules
My portrait

Welcome

I am a graduate student at St. Cross College, Oxford, England.

MSc in Software Engineering

I am reading part-time for an MSc in Software Engineering. I have completed the required ten modules (shown above). I am now finishing off my dissertation, which investigates the use of memory models to support concurrency in programming languages.

Background

I started on the part-time Software Engineering Programme, because I had spare time and liked the idea of consolidating my many years of experience with a formal qualification. I have a BSc(Hons) in Electrical Engineering Science, but switched to the dark side of software after I ran out of excuses for blowing up circuit boards.

Foreground

I live in Switzerland, and work as an independent software engineer. I have an active interest in functional programming; model-driven software development; and software product lines.
