What is the latest
information about Collate, is there a Windows version yet?
Collate is published
by Peter Robinson of De Montfort University as part of the Canterbury
Tales Project (see
http://www.shef.ac.uk/uni/projects/ctp/index.html
for more information about the Project). At present the current version,
Collate 2.0, is only available for the Macintosh though a Windows version
is under development and is expected to be available by late 1997. The web
page for Collate 2 is at
http://slate.blue.dmu.ac.uk/projects/Collate/
where you can order a Macintosh version, in either Scholar or Project
edition, and register for the forthcoming Windows version, as well as
downloading trial sections of the package. A single copy of Collate 2.0
costs £90 (+ £5 p&p) for a single user version, or £180
(+ £15 p&p) for a multiuser version. These prices do not include
VAT.
