COPAC

Description: COPAC is the CURL (Consortium of University Research Libraries) Online Public Access Catalogue, providing unified access to the online catalogues of some of the largest university research libraries in the UK and Ireland. COPAC currently gives access to the catalogues held by the university libraries of Cambridge, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds, Oxford, and Trinity College, Dublin; those of Birmingham, Imperial College, London School of Economics, London, Manchester, Sheffield, and University College are scheduled to be added in the future. The database currently contains approximately 3.5 million records, with a further 30,000 added each month. COPAC can be searched via one of three routes: World Wide Web interface, Telnet (remote log-in) site, or the COPAC Z39.50 target.

Requirements: Internet connection with WWW Browser or telnet client.
