Early English Prose Fiction

Description: Early English Prose Fiction is being produced in association with The Salzburg Centre for Research on the Early English Novel and when complete will contain over 200 fictional texts spanning the years 1500-1700. Types of literature represented include Elizabethan fiction, Jest Books, collections of short pieces and novellas, Restoration fiction and works of popular fiction. The collection will be searchable by keyword/phrase, author, work, genre or date of publication. Early English Prose Fiction forms part of Chadwyck-Healey's Literature Online service.

Requirements: PC running MS-Windows 3.1+ with at least 8MB RAM and CD-ROM drive. For access through Literature Online, any Internetworked computer with a graphical browser.
