The database includes significant English translations of non-English authors such as Molière and Kotzebue and adaptations or dramatisations of works by Charles Dickens and others. The selection of works included on this CD-ROM has been based on the New Cambridge Bibliography of English Literature (Cambridge University Press, 1969-1972) and Alfred Harbage, Annuls of English Drama 975-1700 (London, 1989).
