The Ethnograph 4.0

Description: The Ethnograph 4.0 facilitates the management and analysis of text based data such as transcripts of interviews, focus groups, field notes, diaries, minutes, and other documents. The basic unit is the segment. Each segment can be identified by up to twelve codewords. Segments can be nested and overlapped seven levels deep, and search results represent these levels.

Searches can be done by one or more codewords. Search filters can be created to extract any kind of information from document texts. Entire data fields can be identified by face sheet variables, and existing coding schemes can be selectively or globally modified.

Requirements: PC (286 or better) running DOS. 4MB RAM recommended and 2MB of free hard disk space required. Demo version requires Windows 3.1 or higher.
