Newspapers on CD-ROM

Description: The Guardian, The Times (and The Sunday Times), The Independent (and The Sunday Independent), The Daily Telegraph (and The Sunday Telegraph), The Financial Times and The Economist are available. This collection of CD-ROMs each contain the complete text of each newspaper respectively; some also contain graphic files (e.g. The Times and The Guardian). Archival disks are available for previous years (the earliest being The Independent from 1988); current items are updated every three months.

Requirements: IBM-compatible PC; 486 or higher recommended. Apart from The Guardian, the CD-ROMs are available for either MS-DOS or Windows.The Times and The Guardian also available for Macintosh.
