World Shakespeare Bibliography

Description: The WSB on CD-ROM currently contains over 12,000 separate records of Shakespeare-related material published between 1990 and 1993. It includes not only details of books and articles but also book reviews, dissertations, theatrical productions, production-reviews, audio-visual materials and electronic media. Studies from every country in North America, South America, and Europe, and most countries in Asia, Africa, and Australasia are represented. Each entry is fully searchable by author, title, subject, keyword, date, medium, language, publisher, and periodical title. Users can make Boolean and proximity searches, and may select names, terms, concepts, and titles to bring related works to the screen.

The CD-ROM series will consist of annual releases extending the coverage of the bibliography to include both older and newer material, until all entries from 1900 onwards are eventually contained on one disk.
