I'm the Group Head for Global Health Informatics at the Centre for Tropical Medicine and Global Health at the University of Oxford.

I research the use of information technology for improving healthcare delivery in low-resource settings. I'm particularly interested in digital learning, mobile technology (mHealth) and open source software.

I live in New Zealand and I am also the Director of a new online postgraduate Digital Health programme for the University of Otago.
