Smita Gunnoo grew up in London before moving to Bristol to study Chemistry. During her Masters year, she worked on the covalent decoration of self-assembling peptide fibres under Professor Derek Woolfson. Smita received her MSci in 2009 and moved to Oxford to start a DPhil in the BGD group. Her research is focused on the site-selective modification of antibody fragments.
