By Air
- The closest airport to Oxford is London
Heathrow. Direct buses
for Oxford (travel time=1 hour) leave every 30 minutes from Heathrow's
Central Bus Station (for Terminals 1, 2 and 3) and Terminal 4
during the day.
- From Gatwick, one may either take a
bus (2
hours direct) or travel by rail, changing at Reading.
- Direct buses (2.5+ hours) are also available
from Stansted.
- Direct rail service to Oxford is available
from the Birmingham International Airport.
By Rail
- Trains for Oxford leave regularly from
London's Paddington Station. St. Peter's College is a 5-10 minute
walk from Oxford's rail station. Timetables are available from
Railtrack.
By Bus
- The Oxford Tube
and The Oxford Bus Company
offer 24-hour service to London, with buses leaving every 12
minutes at peak hours. Buses from London and other points in
Great Britain arrive at Gloucester Green, conveniently located
one block from St. Peter's College.
By Automobile
- From London or the Midlands, take the
M40, leaving the motorway at Junctions 8 or 9. Please note:
the college, which is located in Oxford's historic centre, is
unable to provide parking facilities.
