I made the journey to Lauterbrunnen again to the Oberland Hotel where I was well looked after by the owners Ursula and Mark. I enjoyed the walks and climbs and ventured into new areas. In particular the views from the Lobhorner were impressive covering both Lakes Thun and Brienz with just a bit of Interlaken visible in between. On my last day I made an early morning trip to the Jungfraujoch and was rewarded with spectacular views from the Monchsjoch. On the left is the western flank of the Trugberg and the view sweeps round to the Jungfrau with the Jungfraujoch observatory in the foreground and tourists just visible at its base.
