PRESIDENTIAL

United States; Mexico, Philippines, large parts of Latin America (e.g. Argentina)

Parliamentary but with strong (presidentialized?)  premiers

UK;  Spain; Germany; Italy;  Israel

Parliamentary but with weaker premiers.

Countries with multiparty  coalitions (e.g. Holland); Japan 

SEMI PRESIDENTIAL

Strong Presidency – South Korea; Namibia; Peru; Guyana

Weak (largely ceremonial ) Presidency

Portugal (more parliamentary after consolidation of democracy);Bulgaria;Iceland;;Ireland; Slovenia

Balanced systems

Premier-leaning

Bulgaria;Cape Verde;Croatia;Finland (see reference below ) ;Lithuania ;Poland

Presidential leaning

France;Senegal;Taiwan
