Directions

From the Railway / Rail / Train Station:

Bus: Take a 2A or 2B Kidlington bus or a 14 to the Keble Road stop on Banbury Road and get off by St Giles' church. Walk down the path by St Giles' church to the Woodstock Road and then turn right to reach the Language Centre.

On foot: It takes less than 15 minutes to walk from the railway station to the Language Centre. As you come out of the station forecourt turn sharp left, walking past the Said Business School (the large building on your left). Walk straight ahead, cross a little side road and you are on Hythe Bridge Street. Walk straight up this street, over the canal, and you will come to a place where several streets join together. Stay on the pavement and bear left into Worcester Street. Walk to the end of this short road and then do not continue down Walton Street but turn right, cross over Walton Street and walk into Beaumont Street. Walk down this street, past the Ashmolean Museum on your left, until you come to the traffic lights where Beaumont Street meets St Giles. Turn sharp left onto St Giles (a very wide street with old buildings on both sides) and walk straight up this road to where it forks into two at the top. Take the left fork, which is Woodstock Road, cross over the pedestrian crossing just in front of Maison Blanc, and walk a little way up this road, past St Giles church. Brown's Restaurant is on the opposite side of the road. The Language Centre at 12 Woodstock Rd is just next to St Giles Parish Hall

From Gloucester Green Bus Station:

Bus: Walk out of the bus station the way the coaches came in, and turn left up George Street. (Do not cross the road). There is a bus stop just ahead of you. You have a choice of buses to the Language Centre. You could take the 300 Park & Ride Pear Tree (North) bus and ride one stop to the Radcliffe Infirmary on Woodstock Road. You could also take any 2 to arrive at the Keble Road bus stop on Banbury Road.

On foot: It takes about 10 minutes to walk from the bus station to the Language Centre. As you come out of the station forecourt (the same way as the buses entered) turn sharp left, onto George Street. Walk straight up this street until you see Waterstones in front of you and Debenhams on your left. Turn left, walk past Debenhams and Tesco and continue walking up St Giles. Walk straight up this road to where it forks into two at the top. Take the left fork, which is Woodstock Road, cross over the pedestrian crossing just in front of Maison Blanc, and walk a little way up this road, past St Giles church.
