As a conservation professional, I am interested in understanding all dimensions of Biodiversity governance by indigenous peoples. My research involves intersecting the Resilience perspective on socio-ecological systems with a Marxian political ecology approach to understand 'Vivir Bien', 'Mother Earth', and 'Mother Earth rights' as parts of an emerging paradigm in Bolivia. I have worked as university lecturer on issues of sustainability, and for the Bolivian government on multiple topics including the environment, energy, and education.
I hope to better influence Bolivian politics and policies on biodiversity and climate change, break the status quo in order to radically shift the regime of environmental governance in Bolivia for a more resilient future, and setting an example to the world.
