Current Research:

Dr Jingping Hu is starting his independent academic career in the School of Environmental Science and Engineering at Huazhong University of Science and Technology in Wuhan China in 2014, supported by the the prestigious " Young Thousand Talents Scheme".

Dr Hu has a multi-disciplinary academic background across chemistry, physics, materials science and engineering, and has research experience on thin film grown, electrochemical sensing, synthesis of nanomaterials, and electronic structure of metal oxides. His current research at HUST focuses on nanomaterials for environmental applications, detection and treatment of environmental pollutant, and energy storage materials based on environmental waste .
