• APRIL OII Workshop on Hypermedia and Multimedia Standards, Amsterdam, 22-23 April. Proceedings of this Workshop, including a write-up of my presentation, have recently been published in a special edition of the journal 'Information Services and Use' (vol 13 no 2, IOS Press, Amsterdam, ISSN 0167-5265)
• MAY Organized the TEI Technical Review Conference at Eynsham Hall, 13-16 May, 1993
• JUNEWith MSM, reported on progress to date at the ACH ALLC International Conference, held 15-19 June 93 at Georgetown University, USA
• Afterdinner speech at the Society of Bookmen, London 3 June 1993.
• Electronic Resources for Historians and Social Scientists: a special symposium held at the British Academy, 25-6 June 93 Proceedings are in press.
• With MSM, gave presentations on current state of P2 to TEI Advisory Board, meeting in Oak Park 27-9 June.
