Dear members,
A busy year is behind us and
a promising one ahead. It was a pleasure to be the
President of the society this past year, and I hope that
everyone enjoyed it as much as I did.
2008 was a well rounded year, with
academic (energy reform lecture, and "the
lost Decade" seminar by Salinas), cutural
(visit from Carlos Prieto, Ana García Bergua, Adrián
Curiel, Pedro Serrano, and more), social
(Cambridge exchance, tequila night, posada, and parties)
and sporting activities (MexSocUK futbol
tournament and Oxford World Cup). For photos of these
