Welcome to Nightline, a completely independent listening, support and information service run for and by students of Oxford and Oxford Brookes universities.

We aim to provide every student in Oxford with the opportunity to talk to someone in confidence.

We are here for everyone 8pm-8am, 0th week to 9th week during Oxford term time (one week before and after the term dates listed here), you can call us on 01865 270 270, Skype us at oxfordnightline or drop by to our office at 16 Wellington Square.

If you have any questions or comments about our service, please feel free to send the coordinators a message in confidence via the feedback form here or by emailing us at coords@oxfordnightline.org.

Hundreds of students contact Oxford Nightline every year for both support and information. We are open throughout the night when normal counselling and welfare services are unavailable.

When you talk to us, we won't give you advice or tell you what to do, we'll just listen and talk about whatever you want, big or small. We don't make assumptions or judgements and anything you say will be held in complete confidence. We won't rush or pressure you and we won't hang up, however long you want to talk. Sometimes people just need the opportunity to talk things through or know that there is someone there who cares and is willing to listen.

We also offer a wide range of information ranging from details of mental health services to STI clinics. Whether it’s bus timetables, contact details for the counselling service, or directions to the nearest pub, Nightline can be invaluable to all students in Oxford, old and new.
