Welcome to the Oxford Students' Survival Guide to archives and libraries which have holdings relevant to the study of Central Europe.
We have designed this site for students and experienced researchers. We offer an expanding archival links page. In addition, as our members and colleagues return from their research, they provide personal reviews of the archives and libraries in which they have worked. Beyond the basic addresses provided by archival manuals, we present hands-on information that is only acquired through direct experience with these institutions.

Contributions and comments
We are looking for contributors! We would welcome reports from those with experience in Central European archives, archives and/or libraries with key holdings on Central European topics.
Please send a few paragraphs (100-250 words) on your experiences to: email@example.com
Please include addresses, telephone numbers, FAXes, and contact names of the library in your report. If you would prefer to remain unnamed, please specify; otherwise, please provide your name and university affiliation which will be provided at the end of the listing. Please also (very important!) provide the dates when you visited the library concerned.
This database will regularly be updated updated to reflect the dynamic, ongoing changes in all research institutions in this list.
