Finally (yes, I know we've been lame and its taken ages, but booking the pool was a 'mare over the summer.....), we're pleased to announce the Oxford 2002 Freshers Lifesaving Competition. It's on the 26th October (week after Warwick Challenge Comp)
The format of the competition will be:
Times: Registration 12-1pm, Captain's Briefing 12:30pm, Food 6:30pm
Where: Dragon School Pool, Bardwell Road, Oxford (multimap)
Cost: £20/team of 4
Food: Hopefully Magdalen Hall again, at a cost of 3.50 / 1.50 (competitors & spectators / bodys)
Social: Pub crawl then off to a cheesy club
Accomodation: We've got the gym again, and we might even turn out the lights....
You can enter 2 types of teams, Freshers and Advanced. As with last year,
Freshers - Max one experienced team member (experience = has done a
university competition before), mixed team
Advanced - Any mix of freshers and advanced, mixed team
Judges - We need some. If you have anyone willing to judge / line judge,please say with your application
Bodies - You can never have enough. Please say with your application how many you're likely to bring
Social - Nottingham style pub crawl around Oxford, then on to a cheesy club afterwards
