Well, at the very least, the social which was quite obviously going to be a scavenger hunt through the quaint and curious public houses of Oxford.
We started at Raoul's in Jericho, drank cocktails, became very annoyed when they would not honour their pledge to provide cheap drinks until 8:30 then moved off to the Lamb and Flag. After some failed attempts to collect certain interesting items we sallied forth into Wadham where we met Jo, confused the upstanding members of the college in a search for languages and confiscated various artifacts in the pursuit of our goal. After that we made our way to the Turf where some people foolishly abandoned themselves to overwhelming peer pressure whilst others kept their guard high and withstood the onslaught. After the turf, it was getting late so we disbanded and awarded the prize to Caroline, Jenni and Nick for their services to Magpies everywhere.
How to say I love in multiple languages.
