If you don't think you're up to a 1:55 swim and tow (or you're a man!) fear not - you can still get glory with the OULSC "Best Attendance" trophy. This is for wednesday morning swimming and is awarded at the club Christmas dinner in 8th week.

The club has a new and glittering trophy for 2006 - "The Hilary and Nick Burch award for Most Improved Lifesaver" donated by guess who? The Burches were one of several lifesaving couples who met at OULSC and went on to get married. Nick was President in 2002/3 and Hilary was President for two years from 2004-6. The crest is awarded at the AGM in Hilary Term to novices who have made a significant improvement in their fitness, incidents or rope throw (or all three!)
