Women’s Swifts 2011/2012
The Women's Third Team, known as the Swifts, train all year round at Iffley Road. Training sessions are on Sunday mornings 9:30-11:00. The Robins and Swifts squads are never finally decided until Trinity Term, so players who show enough potential in the Swifts squad can be moved up to the Robins, and players can also be moved the other way.
The Swifts play their own Varsity match against the Cambridge 3rds in Trinity term. In 2011 they defeated Cambridge at home at Iffley; hopefully the same result will be achieved this year at Cambridge!
