The Cuppers Events

Shooting	Twenty shots with air pistol at 10m
Riding	The ride course will consist of no more than 12 show jumps of approx. 3 feet. Meet at 6:00p.m. at Iffley Road Sports Centre for lifts to the ride. The ride is at Blewbury Riding Centre, Nr Didcot, OX11 9NH (Click for Google map and directions from Oxford)
Fencing	Epee, one hit, round robin.
Running	3000m cross-country
Swimming	200m freestyle

Competition Timetable

Thursday 15th	Shooting	8 - 10 am	The Cricket Schools, Iffley Road Sports Centre. For all Oxford Teams.
Friday 16th	Riding	7 - 9 pm	Blewbury Riding Centre, Nr Didcot.
Saturday 17th	Shooting	8 - 10 am	The Cricket Schools, Iffley Road Sports Centre.
	Fencing	10 - 1 pm	The Cricket Schools, Iffley Road Sports Centre.
	Swimming	2pm -3 pm	Iffley Road Sports Centre, swimming pool.
	Running	4.30pm - 5.30pm	South Parks.
	Prize Giving	8 pm	To Be Confirmed.
	Meal	8.30pm	Local curry restaurant. All invited, plus onward celebration later.

Important Information - Please read before registering

A team may consist of three to five people of either sex, each must attempt at least three events.

Every event must be covered by at least someone in the team to score.

A college team must be made up of members from the same college. In the event that fewer than three people enter from one college, multi-college teams will be made up from those individuals by the committee. Only a complete college team will be eligible for the cuppers trophy.

Other teams from external competitors, including Old Blues and other universities are welcome to enter and there will be an overall prize for the best team, separate to the cuppers trophy.

1) Only the three highest scoring individuals in each team will count towards the overall score of the team, and only their three highest scores out of the five disciplines will be taken.

2) Costs are £7 for Oxford entry, no ride, £20 for riders. All externals £30, including other student teams. Money can be reimbursed from colleges, talk to your common room sports rep. Cheques made payable to ‘OUMPA’ and sent to Kathryn Hadley at Worcester College, Oxford.

3) Only 2 members in each team can ride. Only 2 can fence. Please indicate a reserve fencer who can compete if there is space.

4) Prizes will be awarded for the best three teams, the team with the most members completing 3 events and to the men's and women's individual winners. To be presented at the dinner on Saturday night.

5) Entries must be received by 5pm, Tuesday 13th November.
