SUA 2009 - Oxford
The SUA Weekend is this year being hosted here in Oxford, by the OUS.
It takes place from Friday 13th to Sunday 15th November 2009 (5th/6th week).
PROVISIONAL PROGRAMME
FRIDAY: 19:30 - 21.00- Ringing at Carfax
Designated pub is The Royal Blenheim and I guess there will be people there from about 19:00.
SATURDAY: 09:00 - Breakfast in The Four Candles (Paper quizzes will be distributed)
10:00 - 8 Bell striking competition. (St Thos)
11.30-12.30 : General Ringing at Lincoln College
12:00 - Lunch at Far From The Madding Crowd.
14:00 - 6 Bell striking competition. (Mary Mag)
Designated afternoon pub is the Royal Blenheim again.
17:30 - Results in Christ Church
20:00-00.00 - Ceilidh and Dinner in St Matthew's Church Hall.
SUNDAY:
08:15 - Bacon sandwiches in St Matthew's Church Hall.
09:00 - Service Ringing at St Thos.
10:00- Service Ringing at Mary Mag.
10:30 - Coffee in the Royal Blenheim
A hall has been booked for accommodation (St Matthew's Church Hall, Marlbrough Road), and there will be the usual array of drinking on the Friday evening, 6 and 8 bell striking competitions on the Saturday, social events on the Saturday evening and Sunday ringing. More details will be available here as they are finalised.
