I
am a Professor of Comparative Politics in the Department
of Politics and International
Relations,
Oxford University, and a Fellow of Nuffield
College.
I am also one of the editors of the Socio-Economic
Review.
My
research
and teaching interests include comparative political economy,
the
politics of industrialized democracies and comparative methods.
My
current
research examines the relationship between government
partisanship and
economic policy in industrialized democracies. I am also working
on projects
analyzing the politics of inequality and the influence of
institutional
configurations over political and economic outcomes.
