Join our group as a graduate student or postdoctoral researcher

We take an interdisciplinary approach to solve fundamental questions about how cells work, employing a range of techniques from biological physics, molecular biology, genetics, computing, to optical engineering.

If this speaks to you, please send an email with your CV and research interests.

Postdoctoral researchers

We are looking for a talented postdoc to join the lab. Contact me if you have skills in molecular microbiology and microscopy and you are keen to take on an exciting research project involving super-resolution microscopy, microfluidics, and single-cell analysis. Apply here!

Postdocs are also welcome to apply for fellowships, e.g. by the Human Frontiers Science Program, EMBO, or Junior Research Fellowships at Oxford's colleges.

Doctorate students

Students interested in joining the lab for their PhD can apply to the following graduate programs at Oxford University:

DPhil in Biochemistry

Interdisciplinary Bioscience Doctoral Training Program

DPhil in Infection, Immunology and Translational Medicine

Biomedical Imaging Centre for Doctoral Training

These programs are under the umbrella of the Medical Sciences Division. Students become member of one of Oxford's colleges. The colleges typically provide accommodation and meals for students, and a nice environment to meet friends. Some colleges also offer scholarships or travel and project grants.
