Rules

50 overs a side. 10 points for a win, 5 for a tie none for a loss.

Bonus points to be awarded as follows:

Batting: <100 runs = 0pts, 100-149 = 1pt, 150-199 = 2pts, 200-249 = 3pts, 250-299 = 4pts, 300> = 5pts

Bowling: 0-2 wickets = 0pts, 3-5 = 1pt, 6-8 = 2pts, 9-10 = 3pts

Each team to play once home, once away.

Teams ranked on : Points, net run rate, 6's, 4's.

Matches should be organised by the home team. If one team cannot play then that team will forfeit the match. The first time this happens they will be given a warning and any further occasions they will be docked 10 points. A match will be rearranged automatically to the next available sunday if a team is still in the Battrick Cup or match can be rearranged at the agreement of both teams.

In each game, only three players worth over 15,000 Battrick points will be permitted for the fixture. If a team exceeds this then the match will be forfitted and the non-offending side awarded the points for a win. If both teams exceed this then 0 points will be awarded to both teams.

If a player has already played in the competition then signs for another club then they are considered cup-tied and cannot play in any future matches in the tournament.
