Draw

The draw for the fixtures will be held on Wednesday 13th July at 12:15 in the Lamb and Flag, St. Giles, Oxford.

Format

One group of eight seven teams, playing home and away making 14 12 games.
Two games a weekend with a view to playing this over a period of seven weeks. Games will be played as a home and away series, similar to International BT, on Saturday/Monday.

If teams are still in the cup, arrange what games you can and rearrange for later. All matches must be played by 24/10/2011

Rules

These rules are to be considered in addition to the rules of Battrick which are available @ http://www.battrick.org/nl/rules.asp

50 overs a side. 10 points for a win, 5 for a tie none for a loss.

Bonus points to be awarded as follows:

Bowling: 0-1 wickets = 0pts. 2-3 wickets = 1pt, 4-5 wickets = 2pts, 6-7 wickets = 3pts, 8-9 wickets = 4pts, 10 wickets = 5pts

Each team to play once for four games in total giving two home and two away games. Draw will decide which team is in which slot (see fixtures above)

Teams ranked on : Points, net run rate, 6's, 4's.

Matches should be organised by the home team. Matches should be aimed to be played on the date they are scheduled. Teams all agree to remember the compeition before arranging friendlies, however the ideal is for all games to be played and games will only be awarded if they are not played before the finish date. Teams should be flexible in arranging matches.

In each game, only three players earning £3,400 per week or more will be permitted for the fixture. The first time a team exceeds this then the match will be forfitted and the non-offending side awarded the points for a win (unless both sides do this then zero points will be awarded to both sides). The second time this happens the side will be automatically removed from the tournament.
