Matthew E. Collin
Hello there! I'm a DPhil (PhD) student in Economics at the University of Oxford and New College, where I also obtained an MSc in Economics for Development.
My interests are broadly centred on development economics, ranging from larger issues such as the political economy and impact of international aid, to the smaller, microeconometric questions concerning nutritional distribution and health. I am also interested in ethnic competition for the provision of publi goods.
I am a former ODI Fellow, having recently worked for two years as a budget officer in the Ministry of Finance for the Government of Malawi.
I am also an amateur film director, some of the films I have produced can be found here.
