Spring Fling is aimed at dancers 12-35 and the Fringe for those over 35. The weekend consists of classes and social dancing with top notch teachers and musicians. It will be most jolly. The event is being run by our German friends who regularly attend the Oxford and Cambridge Highland Ball. Aye.
More info to follow.
As for Summer School there are RSCDS scholarships available for this.

May Morning – Monday 1st May 2017, 6-7:30am, Radcliffe Square, Oxford

We'll be meeting up to dance in Radcliffe Square at 6am on Monday of 2nd week. We're very lucky to have Pipe Major Roger Huth playing for us again this year. We'll be dancing in Radcliffe Square just outside All Souls.
Magdalen Bridge will be open to pedestrians but it does get crowded so it's a good idea to be over the bridge by 5.45am. If you're staying to hear the choir do aim to be on the High St side so that you can come on to us.
Sam has offered us breakfast at her house again - if you are interested, check the mailing list for details, and let her know.
A crib is available.

End-of-term Dance – Tue 13th June 2017, 7.30-11pm, Wesley Memorial Hall, Oxford

This will be a very jolly evening. We'll dance the dances we've been learning in the Tuesday classes this term. Wednesday classes will be open to all in 6th and 7th Week, where we'll be covering the trickier dances on the programme. Please bring finger food to share.

Summer vacation

RSCDS Summer School – Sun 17th July-Sat 12th August 2017, St Andrews

This is an excellent course with first rate teachers and musicians, and jolly good beaches and a sea to paddle in. Most people go for a week (OUSDS usually aim for 2nd week - 24th - 31st July), and it's great fun (and improves your dancing too!). There are classes during the day at every level with wonderful teachers and musicians, and dancing every night (plus after-party dancing too), with people from all over the world, in sunny St Andrews. Plus beautiful beaches and amazing ice-cream, if you need any further incentive!
