Every week, we run regular classes on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, but there are also a number of other Scottish dancing-related events happening in the area! Many of these are run outside the OUSDS – these are marked with a . Click the image for a link to the Facebook page with more details and to see who else is going. There are also events happening outside term-time, so keep an eye out on the list and in the emails.

We will have a stall at the societies' fair. Do come to talk to us, obtain information on classes and sign up for the mailing list.
Fair opening times:
10am-4pm on Wednesday and Thursday for Freshers (please check the slot allocated by your college)
10am-2pm on Friday (ReFreshers' Fair) for everyone else.
This is a very good course. A number from OUSDS went last year. There are classes at all levels.
Cost: There are concessions for students: (excluding lunch and evening ceilidh) £13 (RSDCS members), £15 (non-RSCDS).
An introduction to Scottish dance: fun dances mingled with simple lessons suitable for complete beginners. Come to meet people and see what the society is all about.
Cost: £3, free for members. Membership available on the door.

This will be a very jolly evening. Chris Oxtoby will be playing for us. We'll dance the dances we've been learning in the Tuesday classes this term. Wednesday classes will be open to all in 6th and 7th Week, where we'll be covering the trickier dances on the programme.

Workshop followed by an evening dance. There will be two class levels, intermediate and advanced, and there will also be highland and ladies' step class options.

This is a very good day: first rate teachers and musicians and a jolly dance in the evening.
It is fine to go for just part of the day. There are classes in the morning and afternoon and then Strathallan are playing for the evening dance.

Spring Fling is a merry do and a good taster for Summer School. A number from OUSDS go each year.
For the first time Spring Fling is being held overseas, in France. All in the spirit of Ensign Ewart and the Auld Alliance.
