About me
Welcome
I am a fourth year graduate student of Theoretical Particle Physics at the University of Oxford and I work under the supervision of Dr Joseph Conlon. My main area of research is string theory phenomenology.

My research and interests
I am interested in string theory phenomenology, in particular the application of string theory to particle physics.
String theory is a superb environment for particle model building with lots of tools on offer. For example, it allows for realizing many concepts of particle physics models geometrically: visible and hidden sectors can be realized on D-branes with different locations in the extra dimensions. While the separation ensures that the two sectors can only interact gravitationally, in string theory the resulting couplings are not necessarily weak.
In my work I calculate interactions between hidden and visible sectors using string perturbation theory and worldsheet techniques. My results have implications for supersymmetry breaking and new phenomena such as kinetic mixing.
Further, I have an interest in gauge theory amplitudes. In particular, I want to find out what string theory can teach us about their structure.
My publications can be found here and on INSPIRE.
