Regardless of which airport or train station at which you arrive and depart, you will need to take additional ground transportation to arrive at Princeton University.

Via Ground Transportation (To and From Airports and Amtrak Station)
Depending on your flight or train’s arrival and departure times you may choose to take New Jersey Transit between Newark Airport or the Newark, New York, and Trenton Amtrak stations. For train time tables, please see the New Jersey Transit or Amtrak websites.
Please note that the Dinky shuttle train between Princeton Junction and Princeton Station does not run as frequently on weekends, so check a train schedule to make sure that there is a connection when you arrive at Princeton Junction. Taxis meet most rush hour trains but cannot be depended upon to meet off-peak and weekend trains.
From Newark Airport to Princeton Station (Campus):
Newark Airport
- To get to the airport train station, follow signs to the AirTrain elevated rail.
- Take the AirTrain to the Newark Liberty International Airport Train Station.
- NJ Rail tickets (one way and round-trip) may be purchased at machines in airport terminals, at the bottom of the escalators leading to the station, and in the concourse of the station, just before the turnstiles.
- The train servicing Princeton is called the Northeast Corridor. Take the southbound train with the destination Trenton (not trains to the Jersey shore) and purchase a ticket to Princeton. Get off the train at Princeton Junction
- N.J. Transit offers a shuttle train, known locally as the "Dinky," between Princeton Junction and the Princeton University campus. Upon arrival at Princeton Junction Station, disembark the train and walk a short distance to the "Dinky Train" platform. You will take the Dinky Train to Princeton Campus.
- After you get to campus, it's about a 10 minute walk from the Dinky station to the Nassau Inn. (Go up on University Place, make a right on Nassau Street, and a left on Palmer Square East).

From Newark Penn Station (Amtrak) to Princeton Station (Campus)

- Purchase a rail ticket to Princeton (by way of Princeton Junction)
- The train servicing Princeton is called the Northeast Corridor, direction: Trenton.
- Upon arrival at Princeton Junction Station, disembark the train and walk a short distance to the "Dinky Train" platform. You will take the Dinky Train to Princeton Campus.
From Philadelphia Airport to Princeton Station (Campus)

- Take the Airport High-Speed Rail line to 30th Street Station
- From the Philadelphia, 30th Street Station, take a Septa Train to Trenton
- Change to a New Jersey Transit train to Princeton (by way of Princeton Junction)
- Upon arrival at Princeton Junction Station, disembark the train and walk a short distance to the "Dinky Train" platform. Get on the “Dinky Train” which will take you directly to the Princeton campus.
From Trenton Train Station (Amtrak) to Princeton Station (Campus)

Driving directions to the Nassau Inn
From Newark International Airport (EWR) & New York Area To the Nassau Inn:
Take the New Jersey Turnpike South to Exit #9. Follow US-1 South Toward Princeton. Turn right at Washington Road/Route 571. Turn left at Nassau Street/Route 27. Go three blocks and turn right onto Palmer Square East. Follow Palmer Square East and you will arrive at the Nassau Inn's motor entrance.
From Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) & Philadelphia Area to the Nassau Inn:
Take I-95 North to Route 206 North. Follow Route 206 until you come to a fork at traffic light where Route 206 intersects with Nassau St. Stay to the right and head down Nassau Street/Route 27. Go three blocks and turn left onto Palmer Square East. Follow Palmer Square East and you will arrive at the Nassau Inn's motor entrance.
From North New Jersey to the Nassau Inn:
Take Route 206 South towards Princeton. At Nassau Street/Route 27, turn left. Go three blocks and turn left onto Palmer Square East. Follow Palmer Square East and you will arrive at the Nassau Inn's motor entrance.
From South New Jersey:
Take 295 North to US-1 North to Princeton. At Washington Road, follow the jug handle on right for Route 571 West. At Nassau Street/Route 27, turn left. Go three blocks and turn right onto Palmer Square East. Follow Palmer Square East and you will arrive at the Nassau Inn's motor entrance.
Parking at the Nassau Inn
Guest may unload their vehicles with the assistance of a Bellman at the Nassau Inn's Motor Entrance on Palmer Square. Parking for Nassau Inn guests is available at the Hulfish & Chambers Parking Garages. A parking pass may be obtained by contacting the Front Desk upon check-in. Street metered parking is also available, as well as additional parking garage on Spring Street.
