Tropical Ecology and Entomology Research

The group is a multi-disciplinary team, and we are always keen to aquire additional skills to compliment our team. Other departmental research groups, notably the Edward Grey Institute of Ornithology (birds), and Wildcru (mammals) have excellent field ecology teams, and the tropical ecology and entomology group compliments them by covering most other animal groups in environments ranging from tropical rainforests to semi-arid sahel zones and coral reefs. Our members have expertise in a broad range disciplines (see Disciplines section). This diverse skills base makes the group a flexible and highly competent team, capable of tackling most areas of research in field-based ecology.
