Scoping the Future of Oxford's Digital Collections Questionnaire

The aims of the questionnaire are:

  1. To find out what digitization projects are in progress or have recently been completed, and in so doing to look at existing commitments to maintaining digital projects
  2. To find out what is the potential for digitization by looking at existing archives/collections

I would like to stress that we are not simply concentrating on paper-based material, but also sound and video, etc. Furthermore I would welcome responses from all libraries (e.g. Libraries Committee libraries, Faculty/Department Libraries, College Libraries), museums, other institutions, and individual academics involved in research projects that involve digitization. In many cases responses to the questionnaire will be followed up with a one-to-one interview to discuss projects in more detail. If you have any comments or suggestions relating to the project, please contact me directly (Stuart.Lee@oucs.ox.ac.uk). Please complete the questionnaire by 15th JANUARY 1999.
