Oxford SulKiDo Club - Subscription Refunds

• The only circumstances under which the club normally refunds subscriptions is if a member unexpectedly becomes unable to train due to medical/health problems.
• The club does not refund subscriptions to members who become unable to train due to changes in their personal circumstances (for instance moving away from the Oxford area) whether expected or unexpected.
• The club does not refund subscriptions to members who are expelled for reasons of unsatisfactory conduct by the committee/instructors.
• A refund for medical reasons will only be provided on receipt of a satisfactory verifiable written letter from a suitably qualified medical practitioner. The club reserves the right to contact the author of the letter, to inform the university authorities, and to take advice from other medical professionals as deemed appropriate.
• Refunds are made on a pro-rata basis according to the fraction of the membership year remaining, dated from the last session (or social event) that the member attended. For members in their first year, the club reserves the right to deduct the expense of providing a dobok (training outfit) before the pro-rata calculation is made.
• Note that if a member obtains a subscription refund then they cease to be a part of the club - this means removal from the club mailing lists(s) and loss of access to club social and other events. However we will continue to retain their joining questionnaire and any data/correspondence related to their time with the club.
