Gradings (8 gup and above) typically last for 3 hours and are conducted by either Master M.Y. Kim (7th Dan, the head of SulKiDo) or another external Master-graded instructor. The Yellow-Tag grading is conducted locally and is free to Oxford members.
In order to take a grading a student must be a member of the UKSF (United Kingdom SulKiDo Federation) and pay a grading-specific fee. Membership of UKSF costs £35 (we usually manage to part-subsidise this out of Oxford club funds).
|Gup||Grading||Minimum period between gradings||Grading fee|
|8 & 7||Yellow||3 months||£25|
|6 & 5||Green||3 months||£30|
|4 & 3||Blue||3 months||£35|
|2 & 1||Red||6 months||£60|
